What mesotherapy is
Mesotherapy delivers mixtures of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid into the dermis through a large number of micro-injections. Unlike filler, its aim is not to create volume but to support the skin's hydration and overall quality.
That distinction matters for expectations. Where there is marked volume loss or a deep fold, mesotherapy alone may not be the right answer, and fillers or biostimulators would be assessed instead.

Why it is a course rather than one session
Mesotherapy works on a course basis. Several sessions are usually planned one to three weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions tailored to the individual. Expecting a lasting change from a single session is not realistic.
The mixture is not a fixed recipe: skin type, season, accompanying concerns and any history of hair loss all change what is selected.
Setting the expectation honestly
A supportive effect on skin hydration, radiance and fine surface lines is widely observed in clinical practice. That said, the mixtures and protocols used in this field differ considerably between clinics, and the practice is not standardised to the degree that botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid fillers are.
We prefer to say that plainly rather than gloss over it: mesotherapy is a supportive treatment, not a rejuvenation method in its own right. It performs best in a suitable patient and when planned alongside other treatments.
Safety and when it is not appropriate
Treatment is carried out under sterile conditions with single-use materials. Transient redness, small bruises and mild tenderness at the injection points are expected effects.
It is not used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, where there is active skin infection at the site, or with a known allergy to components of the mixture. Please share your allergy history and current medications at the consultation.
FAQ
How many sessions are needed?
Mesotherapy is planned as a course; the number of sessions and the interval are decided at the consultation according to your skin and your goal, with maintenance sessions afterwards.
How is it different from filler?
Filler creates volume; mesotherapy does not, and instead aims to support the skin's hydration and quality. They address different problems and can be planned together.
Treatment information is general and does not replace a medical examination. Indications, contraindications, expected response and session planning are discussed during consultation.
